First established in 1920 by Jean-Baptiste PASTOR as construction company J.B. PASTOR & FILS, the business has grown over the past 100 years to become an international group of companies, employing approximately 1,000 staff, operating in Europe and more recently the United States, however still headquartered in the Principality of Monaco.

The company is today run by Patrice Pastor, the great-grandson of Jean-Baptiste, which operates in various sectors in the Principality as well as on an international scale, in particular in real estate construction, investment, development, management and brokerage.

In Patrice Pastor’s tenure, since 1995, the company has completed over 100 luxury real estate developments in Monaco and London, and now embarks on a new chapter in the company and family history having established Esperanza Carmel LLC in 2015 with the intention of investing in and developing real estate in Carmel, California. Still with the same objective, a long-term view to design, build, rent and manage projects that respect and reflect the local environment.
