Originally constructed in 1951, located on Highway 1 between Carmel and Big Sur, Rocky Point offers one of the most spectacular views in the world. Having now settled the historic issues with the property and a agreed to a restoration plan with the California Coastal Commission, Esperanza Carmel are working on plans to redevelop the site with both Monterey County and the California Coastal Commission. We hope to be in a position to share our plans and present the development team’s vision for the property later this year.

We are pleased to confirm that, although the restaurant is not currently operational, the property remains open to the public to enjoy the trails and spectacular views.
